I'm Joel Dickson. I write about engineering leadership, software architecture and the organisational dynamics that make or break technical teams. Most of it comes from level 6 of an office in Bangkok, where I lead engineering teams at Agoda and spend a lot of time watching how structure, incentives and the odd seating chart shape the software that comes out the other end.
